The ZL9CI team started the operation under the restriction of "daytime" visits only. They hit more than 11,000QSOs in the first 24 hours.Moreover, the bad weather resulted in dangerous conditions to transferthe team off the island to the boat, they were forced to stay ashore for the night to enjoy the low bands.
