| The large-scale pedition to Cocos Island was planned since TI9X was
on the air in 1996. We should wait for a long time if we miss TI9.
Henry, TI2HMG and his experienced team set up at least four
operating stations despite restrictions. They got on the air with
the deep cell batteries on the first day, and with generators on
the following days. The pileup was huge. PW0T team was also
on the bands with the similar schedule. |
